Far Northeast Community Engagement

A+ Denver has partnered with Denver Public Schools to convene a Far Northeast Community Committee (FNECC). This committee, made up of parents, teachers, school and community leaders from throughout the region, will examine issues critical to Far Northeast Denver schools including:  academic performance, effective feeder patterns, program offerings, high school configurations, school overcrowding, and strategies to close the achievement gap and meet the needs of English Language Learners.

The next large community meeting is scheduled for May 25, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:30 pm at MLK Jr. Early College.
